CoolSculpting Treatment & Result Expectations
Immediately After
Right after your treatment, you might have some mild soreness, redness, bruising, swelling, tingling, or numbness in the treatment area. Your skin may also feel a little sensitive, and if you have the fat under your chin treated, you might experience a sensation of “fullness” at the back of your throat. These effects are all temporary, and they’ll resolve soon afterward – usually within a few days to a week or so for bruising. There’s no downtime with CoolSculpting, and most men and women return to their regular routines right after their treatment session with Eternity Med Spa in Creve Coeur.
3 Weeks After
About 3-4 weeks after treatment is when most women and men begin to realize the initial results of their treatment. By this time, initial swelling has resolved, so you can see some of the effects of your CoolSculpting treatment as your body removes the fat cell debris. It’s important to note that these are very early results, and you’ll continue to see far more improvement in the weeks ahead.
2 Months After
Two months after treatment, most men and women notice a dramatic improvement in the treatment area. By now, there is noticeable slimming in the treatment area as your body has been carrying away the cellular debris left from the CoolSculpting treatment.
4-6 Months After
By this time, your body has removed all or nearly all the fatty debris from the treatment area, and you should have an idea of how your final results will look. You’ll also be able to decide if you want additional body sculpting treatments either in the same area or in other areas where stubborn fat is a problem. Many men and women find that treating neighboring regions can enhance their results. For instance, treating both the belly and back can significantly improve your waistline and silhouette.
